PEMBERSTONE ART FAIR RAISES £2500 FOR CHARITIES
An art fair hosted by Worcester business, Pemberstone Partnership LLP featuring over 50 Herefordshire and Worcestershire artists has raised £2500 for two local charities, County Air Ambulance Trust and Headway Worcester Trust (the brain injury association).
The public Art Fair was held at Teme House, in the grounds of Whittington Hall, Whittington Road, Worcester. Presenting each charity with a cheque for £1250, Andrew Bruckland of the Pemberstone Partnership said, “We are delighted to have raised this significant sum for our nominated charities. Their work is at the very sharp end of medical care. Lives are saved and transformed through their efforts and, as neither is publicly funded, they rely totally on donations in order to continue making a difference.”
Claire Galleries owner, Claire Dawkins, who co-ordinated the artists for the event added, “The weekend was a real success. Teme House is a wonderful space in which to exhibit art. It has plenty of natural light and is set within lovely landscaped grounds which encouraged plenty of visitors to attend the event.”
Arthur Worthington, Fundraising Services Manager for County Air Ambulance Trust said,
“It was very enjoyable to see the wealth of local artistic talent and rewarding to work alongside Headway Worcester Trust as our work sometimes crosses over on a local level. We are both very grateful to Pemberstone for remembering us and for putting in the considerable amount of work for both causes, which I know are close to their hearts.”
Teme House is located within the grounds of Whittington Hall on Whittington Road, Worcester within half a mile of junction 7 of the M5.
